Rick Hoffman & Sheryl Lynde are teaming up together to give you the tools to build that solid foundation

Learn how to effectively prepare your horse for trail and obstacles the trail presents from riding wide open pastures to rugged terrain, crossing logs and water to handling your horse safely when presented with loud noises as we incorporate mounted shooting to simulate backfiring from traffic noise. You will learn to safely overcome fear in rider and horse and build that partnership you have been wanting.

We will teach you the tools to effectively work your horse from ground to saddle which will give you control of the 5 body parts - learn how to get that stop, side pass, control of the hindquarters and shoulders, and speed control with precision.

Then on the last day you will be utilizing all that you have learned and be putting those skills to use as you work cattle - gathering them from the pastures and sorting.

You will be the rider your horse deserves after this 3-day trail training camp.

I first saw Rick at the Extreme Cowboy Race finals at the Equine Affair in Pomona, California. I was inspired by the willingness of a young horse and the soft touch of a rider that nurtured an obvious bond of unity and teamwork. I decided to contact him and see if I could capture a miniscule part of that in my own riding experience. I have now been working with Rick for about four months and he has patiently helped me rebuild the foundation on a problem mare. He has given me the tools and the confidence to improve and work toward goals that I never thought were possible. Even with all of the technical improvements in my horsemanship, my favorite thing about training with Rick is his genuine love for the horses and his desire for people to have as much fun riding as he is having. His philosophy combined with amazing horsemanship motivates me to be a more gentle, confident partner with my horse. Both my yearling and I are glad we found him.

I could go on and on....this seems like a good time to say thank you. I am genuinely inspired by that sparkle in your eyes after you finish the run. It doesn't get old for you. I like that.
